Almost a decade following its Early Access release, the popular resource management game Satisfactory finally hit 1.0 late last year. In the wake of this, an official console version was confirmed to be in the works – with the team simply teasing that it’s coming “soon”. Finally, we’ve gotten an update on the much-anticipated console release, with Satisfactory set to come to PlayStation and Xbox this November.
Making the announcement via a comedic teaser trailer, the team at Coffee Stain Studios officially confirmed that Satisfactory is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on the 4th of November (with last-gen versions arriving later down the line).
Set to arrive alongside update 1.1 (which not-so-coincidentally adds full controller support), the console release of Satisfactory is said to include feature-parity with the PC version.
Beyond this, the game will also take advantage of the current-gen hardware, with PS5 users in particular seeing support for the DualSense’s advanced haptics and controller speaker. That said, both Xbox and PlayStation will feature 3 different performance modes: 30fps, 40fps and 60fps options.
Last but certainly not least, the console version of Satisfactory will include cross-play support – though only between Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
It’s been almost a year since Satisfactory was first announced to be arriving on consoles. While it’s been a long time coming, PS5 and Xbox owners will finally be able to build the factory of their dreams come the 4th of November.
