Tt eSPORTS Chao Dracco Signature Headphones Review

Overall we have mixed feelings about the Tt eSPORTS Chao Dracco Signature. It would be fair to say that the design is eye-catching, but we question how many people will actually like it.  All of the colour variants available feature the same tawdry gold-coloured plastic which looks and feels cheap.

We were impressed with the sound quality of these headphones, though.  In our music playback tests we were overwhelmed by the rich and clear sound produced by the headphones.  The only negative aspect of the headphone's performance is the lack of virtual surround sound which is preferable when watching movies and playing games.

Even though the sound quality is good, we found the headset uncomfortable during use.  After around 40 minutes use it became so uncomfortable to wear we had to remove them. So we resorted to using a SteelSeries Siberia V2 headset instead.

The Tt eSPORTS Dracco Signature is available from Systo UK for a price of around £75.  We think that this is a little much considering the poor comfort levels and cheap design and construction.  The price of these headphones needs to fall below the £50 mark before they are worth considering.

The SteelSeries Siberia V2 is a much better choice for those looking for an all round headset as it is more attractive, much more comfortable and has an inbuilt microphone for gaming.  It is also significantly cheaper at £60 from Scan.

Pros

  • Good sound quality.
  • Decent bundle.

Cons

  • Tawdry design.
  • Uncomfortable.
  • Expensive.

KitGuru says:  It's good to see Thermaltake expanding into new markets but, unfortunately, these headphones don't quite make a recommendation.
