Despite having the OG Wind Waker on Switch 2 via emulation, a proper port of the Wii U’s Wind Waker HD is still on the table, according to Nintendo.

Following the USA and Canada, Nintendo has now announced that they are halting pre-orders for Switch 2 in China, with no new date in sight.

Ahead of the official pre-orders for Switch 2 going live, Nintendo has announced that alongside the USA, Canadians will not be able to pre-order the system.

Nintendo’s controversial Game-Key Card system for Switch 2 will be quite a bit more user-friendly than initially expected.

With EA’s Sports titles confirmed for Switch 2, the publisher has detailed whether these versions will be comprehensive ports, or simply a roster update.

The 2nd of April marked one of the most important dates the video games industry has seen in quite some time, owing to the big unveiling of the Nintendo Switch 2 – showing us everything from the hardware, games and even the system’s release date. Unfortunately, much of what has been revealed so far shows Nintendo is squandering the good will it built up during the Switch 1 generation.

Despite a generational leap in power, the Switch 2 will still only support maximum cartridge sizes of up to 64GB - sparking concerns for current-gen titles.

While the Nintendo Switch was an undeniable success, one of the handheld’s core issues was in its Joy-Cons. With the Switch 2 Direct just a week away, insiders have revealed some of Nintendo’s launch plans for the console – including a 3-phase game release strategy.

Over the past couple years, we’ve seen Microsoft bring over a select number of first-party Xbox titles to both PlayStation and the Nintendo Switch. Despite Indiana Jones and the Great Circle; DOOM The Dark Ages and Forza Horizon 5 all slated for a PS5 launch this year, one insider has claimed that there are “a lot more” titles planned to be ported in 2025 alone.

Nightdive Studios' long awaited System Shock 2 remaster finally has a release date. The 25th Anniversary remaster of the beloved 90s RPG will be launching for PC and consoles in June.
