Less than two months on from launch, Hazelight Studios’ Split Fiction has sold over 4 million copies so far - meaning 8 million total players.

Just two days on from launch, Hazelight Studios’ latest co-op title Split Fiction has already sold over 1 million copies.

Split Fiction is the next big game from Josef Fares and Hazelight Studios. Known for their work on co-op focused titles such as A Way Out and It Takes Two, the upcoming Split Fiction appears to be an early game of the year contender if critics are anything to go by – receiving universal acclaim and becoming the highest rated game of 2025 so far.

It Takes Two creator Josef Fares revealed the game has sold over 23 million copies, half of which was from China alone -- among many other interesting tidbits.

Split Fiction, the latest game from Hazelight Studios, is just around the corner. In preparation for launch, the studio has now revealed detailed PC system requirements for the game. While higher than the likes of A Way Out and It Takes Two, the minimum specs required are very reasonable.
