While Grand Theft Auto 6 was originally supposed to release this year, the game was pushed back to May 2026 over the Spring. Due to the ambitious nature of Grand Theft Auto 6, many are anticipating a second delay, but Take-Two CEO, Strauss Zelnick, says that no such delay is being considered. 

Rockstar recently announced that GTA 6 has been delayed. While this has been good for several games releasing this year, titles planned for 2026 are now in a tricky spot.

Grand Theft Auto 6 will take the action back to Vice City, but fans have uncovered evidence that Liberty City may also appear in the game.
