Following its survey in Japan, Nintendo of America has now asked its fans what they think of the physical vs digital media divide.

In the wake of a ton of outcry, Nintendo has released a survey asking fans what they think of the highly-controversial Game-Key Card system for Switch 2.

It seems that despite announcing their new controversial Game-Key Card system, first-party Switch 2 games will not be using these cartridges.

With regards to the final point, a new leak has revealed another issue with Nintendo Switch 2’s cartridges and why so many publishers are opting for game-key cards.

For a while, it seemed as though both digital and physical mediums could co-exist in the games industry. Unfortunately, through the evolution of technology, the de-evolution of the industry and what seems to be a concerted effort to make the overall experience worse, physical media is now in many ways objectively inferior to digital.
