Recently, Naughty Dog revealed the PC system requirements for The Last of Us Part 2, as well as confirming some of the PC-specific features we'll be seeing in the game. 

On Friday we published our review of the Stormforce Prism 1089 prebuilt gaming desktop. Unfortunately, we ran into issues with it pretty quickly in what can only be described as a quality control issue. A lack of care had been taken putting the system together. Now, Stormforce has acknowledged the issues and is looking to tighten things up before any more of these systems go out to paying customers.

Zynga's attempt at a long-running multiplayer Star Wars game is coming to an unceremonious end. Star Wars Hunters, which was originally supposed to release on mobile, PC and Nintendo Switch back in 2021, suffered numerous delays and now after less than a year on the market, the game is shutting down. 

Counter-Strike 2 has managed to outdo itself once again, having now reached a new peak concurrent player count of over 1.82 million.

Recent evidence shows that the PlayStation Store has been updated with a hidden listing for the Gears of War Collection. Typically, these PSN Store backend leaks are legitimate, so it appears that after a decade of appearing in rumours, the Gears Trilogy will finally return in remastered form. 

DRM is the bane of many PC players, with DENUVO being the most famous (or infamous). While almost all games with DRM eventually get cracked by fans, developers have begun taking it into their own hands, patching the DRM out soon after launch. While it took a bit longer than usual, Square Enix has now removed Denuvo from a number of its games – including Final Fantasy XVI.

Ubisoft has a lot riding on the release of Assassin's Creed Shadows later this month. Ahead of the March 20th launch day, the publisher has now announced details on pre-loading, as well as global unlock times for digital copies of the game across PC, PS5 and Xbox. 

March’s Humble Choice line-up is available to claim now, including the likes of Pacific Drive, Tales of Kenzera: Zau and Homeworld 3.

Since its release in 2008, Sonic Unleashed has remained exclusive to console platforms. Originally released for the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 and Nintendo Wii, PC gamers have had to rely on emulators in order to experience this legendary title in the 3D Sonic line-up. Fortunately, a group of fans have now changed that with their own PC port.

Monster Hunter Wilds has launched and already seems to be a massive hit. On Steam alone, the game garnered over 1 million concurrent players in the hours after launch.

Initially planned to launch this past winter, Sonic Rumble is now set to arrive some time in Spring 2025 for mobile and PC.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, the eagerly anticipated remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, is due to launch in late August, so it is a bit soon to be talking about PC system requirements. Still, that hasn't stopped Konami from releasing PC specs well ahead of time, and confirming that the game will require a ray-tracing capable graphics card.
