Last night during Kojima Productions' Beyond the Strand event, we received a bunch of announcements. It turns out that there are actually TWO films in the works based on the Death Stranding IP. The live action film, which was announced previously, is being developed by legendary film studio A24. On top of that, Kojima also has a Death Stranding animated film on the way.

Ahead of its launch later this week, critic reviews for Death Stranding 2 have gone live – with the sequel receiving universal acclaim.

Alongside the previously-announced film adaptation, Kojima has now revealed that a Death Stranding anime is in the works.

In the wake of its surprise release onto Xbox, fans have discovered a game-breaking bug with Death Stranding – though the devs are working on a fix.
