Alongside the previously-announced film adaptation, Kojima has now revealed that a Death Stranding anime is in the works.

Indie/horror film distributor A24 has announced that they are working on an Elden Ring adaptation with FromSoftware and Bandai Namco.

With Death Stranding 2 just over a month away, Kojima has offered an update on his other projects – with the Death Stranding film planned for 2027.

Following its announcement back in 2022, the Death Stranding film seems to finally be underway, with a writer/director now on board.
