The Sharkoon Skiller SGK50 S3 Wood PBT is a keyboard we first laid our eyes on back at Computex 2025 and we now have our hands on a unit for review. The combination of a wooden case, alongside wooden spacebar and escape keys, give the Skiller SGK50 S3 Wood a unique and modern look. Featuring Gateron G Pro 3.0 switches, a polycarbonate plate and plate mounted, clip-in stabilisers, can this wooden peripheral deliver a solid experience that will rival more traditional boards?

Pros:

• Stunning design.
• Good build quality.
• Satisfying typing experience.
• Will suit modern and minimalist setups quite well.
• Coiled cable included.

Cons:

• Slight wobble on USB-C port.
• Bright spots on RGB backlighting can be distracting.
• Although the included coiled cable is a pro, the quality of the cable isn’t great.
• UK availability is non-existent at the time of the review.
