The Marvo Magma M40 keyboard aims to offer unprecedented value for money

MARVO, a popular keyboard maker throughout the European market, is aiming to shake things up with its next release. The new Magma M40 keyboard, offering magnetic switches and a premium build, while keeping the price tag under $50.

Each key on the Magma M40 utilises a Magnetic Outemu Pink Switch. These are linear, pre-lubricated switches geared towards those who prefer a quieter typing experience by removing the audible ‘click' found in tactile switches. Thanks to Hall Effect technology, users can also freely adjust the actuation point from anywhere from 0.1mm to 3.3mm. Depending on the setting, the key will be more responsive to quick and light button taps, or you can require a full key press, it is entirely up to you, so feel free to mess around with the settings to get the perfect setting for you.

These switches also support new technologies like Rapid Trigger and Snap Tap. On top of that, the response time is just a mere 0.2ms with 8000Hz polling enabled, so you can ensure your key presses will register instantaneously.

The Magma M40 is designed with desk space in mind. It has a compact 65% layout with 67 keys, giving you access to everything you need, while removing unnecessary extras to free up more space for your mouse on the desk. The key caps are all made of double-shot PBT, so they should last a long time without showing signs of wear. The keyboard is also packed with soundproofing foams, including Poron, IXPE, PET and silicone, so you won't have to worry about your key taps making too much noise during late night gaming sessions.

The whole keyboard has RGB backlighting too, which is freely configurable via software, or using the built-in function keys. You can also set up custom macros and shortcuts. The keyboard supports all major platforms too, including Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.

The MARVO Magma M40 keyboard will be available starting in September, depending on region. Here in the UK, it will be available starting in October.
