Pulsar eS HE 70 keyboard offers full customisation with no added software

Pulsar Gaming Gears has officially launched its new flagship esports keyboard, the eS HE 70 ANSI. This new peripheral has been designed from the ground up with the professional tournament player in mind, featuring high-performance magnetic switches and the ability to configure every setting directly on the keyboard without needing to install any software.

In direct response to feedback from pro players who are often unable to install custom control software on tournament PCs, Pulsar developed an on-board system that allows players to adjust settings, create macros, and switch between up to four profiles on the fly. This system is complemented by an integrated LCD and a control knob to make adjustments easier to manage. The software is still available if users wish to use it.

At its core, the keyboard is built for speed. It uses Pulsar's new “Raesha” magnetic switches (28±10 gf), which, combined with an 8K polling rate, promise fast response times. As you'd expect from a modern competitive keyboard, these switches support an adjustable actuation point (down to 0.05 mm) and a Rapid Trigger feature for an immediate advantage in fast-paced games. The on-board controls also give access to a suite of advanced competitive features, including Quick Tap (SOCD) and Dynamic Keystroke (DKS), which provides you with the ability to have two different key inputs based on the depth of a single keystroke.

On the outside, its compact 70% form factor allows you to save quite a bit of space without sacrificing many keys. Moreover, the CNC aluminium body gives it a more premium feeling, less flex, and added durability. Lastly, this keyboard's dual silicone damping construction improves typing experience and reduces noise. The Pulsar Gaming eS HE 70 keyboard is now available for pre-order for €219.90/$199.95

KitGuru says: Do you think more manufacturers should follow Pulsar's example and add the ability for users to adjust settings without software?
