Nvidia brings DLSS plugin to Unreal Engine 5.2

There are hundreds of games being developed today using Unreal Engine and with the rate DLSS has been growing, there's a good chance many of them will support Nvidia's upscaling tech. Nvidia is boosting those chances this week with the DLSS plugin for Unreal Engine 5.2.

Currently, over 300 games and apps support DLSS and the road is now paved for projects using Unreal Engine 5.2 to easily integrate the feature. DLSS plugins are also available for older versions of Unreal Engine 5, Unreal Engine 4 and Unity Engine.

Aside from this, Nvidia is also announcing a few games now supporting DLSS:

  • Land Of The Vikings (available now with DLSS 2)
  • Warhaven demo (available now through June 26th with DLSS 2)
  • Trepang2  (launching today with DLSS 2)
  • Need for Speed Unbound (Volume 3 available now with DLSS 3)
  • Forever Skies (launching June 22nd with DLSS 2)

DLSS 2 is supported on all RTX GPUs but DLSS 3 is reserved for RTX 40 series GPU owners. DLSS 3 includes AI frame generation, allowing you to boost performance even further.

Ghost of Tsushima on PC is now region-free and Steam Deck verified

Fortunately, Sony seems to be backtracking on this somewhat, with an update to Ghost of Tsushima on PC removing the region-lock requirements while also adding official Steam Deck verification.
