Nvidia might be preparing Super versions of the RTX 4080 and RTX 4070

While Nvidia skipped over a refreshed RTX 30 Super series of graphics cards last generation, new reports point to the possibility of the Super line returning for RTX 40.

According to hardware-focused leaker, hongxing2020, Nvidia is apparently planning on releasing an RTX 4080 Super and Super variants of the RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4070. We recently did hear rumours about a potential RTX 4080 Ti, but perhaps it will release as the RTX 4080 Super instead. There does seem to be enough wiggle room between all three SKUs to release more powerful variants.

While this leaker does have a good track record, it is not flawless. As Videocardz points out, this same leaker also pointed towards an RTX 30 Super refresh but as we know now, those graphics cards never made it to announcement or release.

If RTX 40 Super cards are indeed on the way, then we should see them in the first half of 2024. If this release is indeed going ahead, then we may also see the RTX 50 series slip into 2025, a possibility that has been raised in previous reports.

Ghost of Tsushima on PC is now region-free and Steam Deck verified

While Sony’s PC initiatives have been mostly a success, one of the biggest controversies with the console maker’s recent PC ports has been its use of region locking as a result of their integration with the PlayStation Network. Fortunately, Sony seems to be backtracking on this somewhat, with an update to Ghost of Tsushima on PC removing the region-lock requirements while also adding official Steam Deck verification.
