TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge gets another surprise DLC

TMNT Shredder’s Revenge successfully revived the much-loved franchise upon its release back in 2022, creating an arcade-like brawler which equally harkens back to days of old while simultaneously improving upon the genre’s formula. Though the game already got a ton of post-launch support and even surprise DLCs, the team at Tribute Games are seemingly not quite done.

Making the surprise announcement via what appears to have been a leaked/premature trailer, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is getting another DLC.

Known as ‘Radical Reptiles’, this DLC will bring with it two new playable characters – both rather obscure:

  • “Radical surfer and trusted friend to the Turtles: Mondo Gecko
  • Physics student turned reptilian rapscallion: Mona Lisa”

Alongside the DLC’s launch, Shredder’s Revenge will also be getting a free update, adding “a rockin’ Remix mode of the official soundtrack featuring amazing guest artists.”

While the trailer may have been published early, its intention as a shadow drop seems to indicate that its actual, official release is imminent.
