PS Now’s final-ever batch of games announced

Ahead of Sony’s revamped PlayStation Plus launch, which will be absorbing PlayStation Now into one unified service, the console manufacturer is continuing to flesh out their PS Now library. May’s PlayStation Now games have been announced – the final list of games to be added under this soon-to-be-absorbed service.

Making the announcement on their blog, Sony revealed the set of games coming to subscription service PlayStation Now this month, saying “Win the day with fists, weapons or sheer cunning”. With that, they announced May’s PS Now games:

  • Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4
  • Soulcalibur VI
  • Blasphemous

This line-up does not differ too much from previous month’s offerings, meaning that it will be business as usual with PlayStation Now until it is absorbed later this June. Even so, this line-up has a little something for everyone.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is the most recent game in the Ultimate Ninja series, and is as such the most complete game, offering hundreds of variations across dozens of characters. If you enjoy Naruto in any capacity, this game will satisfy.

Soulcalibur VI is the latest entry in the long-running fighting series. Adding Guest characters such as Geralt of Rivia and 2B from NieR: Automata, Soulcalibur VI is a fun and approachable fighting game.

Blasphemous is a punishing 2D side-scrolling metroidvania. With a depressive atmosphere and fun methodical souls-like gameplay, Blasphemous is worth checking out.

These games look to be permanent additions to the service, meaning that they should remain even when PlayStation Now is absorbed by PS Plus. All of these titles help to offer added variety to the service and are all certainly worth checking out.

KitGuru says: What do you think of the line-up? Are you excited for the new PS Plus? Will you subscribe to it in June? Let us know down below.
