Tetris Effect is one of the most engaging games in recent history, taking the scientifically addictive and satisfying time-based puzzle stylings of the original game and enhancing it with beautiful music, mesmerising visuals and engaging feedback. Expanding on this formula, Lumines Arise was unveiled back during Sony’s Summer State of Play with a Fall 2025 release window. Now, an official release date has been announced – alongside a time-limited demo.
Releasing a “Demo Explainer” video on YouTube, the team at Enhance detailed the core concepts surrounding Lumines and its puzzle / rhythm mechanics.
As part of this however, the team confirmed that Lumines Arise is set to officially launch on the 11th of November 2025.
As they did with their previous title Tetris Effect, Lumines Arise has now gotten a time-limited demo, letting you check out the game on PlayStation 5 from now until the 3rd of September.
As mentioned, Tetris Effect was an engrossing, addictive and highly beautiful reinvention of a decades old classic puzzler – and so I expect nothing but greatness from the upcoming Lumines Arise.
