The Elder Scrolls Oblivion Remastered surpasses nine million players

Back in April, Oblivion Remastered quickly amassed four million sales from its launch across PC, PS5 and Xbox. Since then, that player count has more than doubled, with the game surpassing 9 million players.

The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remastered released in April and in the three months since, the game has garnered over nine million players, up from four million at the end of April. Fans all around the world have been jumping back into the game to re-experience Imperial City, and others who grew up with Skyrim are experiencing the events of Oblivion for the very first time.

The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remastered has been a top-selling game on Steam, as well as Xbox and PS5 consoles since its release. A sales boost will have arrived over the past few weeks, as the game had been discounted across PC, Xbox and PlayStation.

Currently, Oblivion Remastered is ranked as the second best-selling game of the year, although it will likely be dethroned soon by the incoming wave of sports titles like EA FC (formerly FIFA), Madden, NBA2K, as well as staple annual games like Call of Duty.
