Sword Art Online titles dominate this month’s PS Plus Extra rollout

Sony kicked off the month with a few new games for PS Plus Essential subscribers and now, the next batch of games for PS Plus Extra and Premium have been announced. There will be 15 games joining the service in August, including hits like The Witcher 3 and beloved indie titles like Cult of the Lamb. 

The big-name games in this month's update include The Witcher 3, EA's Monster Hunter-like, Wild Hearts, and Watch Dogs 2. There is also a healthy dose of anime in this update, with several Sword Art Online titles and Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Strikers all joining the library.

Here's the full list of games coming to PS Plus Extra on the 16th of May:

• Wild Hearts
• Cult of the Lamb
• Ride 5
• Watch Dogs 2
• Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Strikers
• Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris
• Sword Art Online: Last Recollection
• Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet
• Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will get a few extra games for the Classics and VR libraries, including:

• Sword Art Online: Lost Song
• Vacation Simulator
• TimeSplitters
• TimeSplitters 2
• TimeSplitters: Future Perfect
