Nvidia reveals DLSS updates for Alien, Battlefield 6 and more

Each week, Nvidia reveals a new batch of DLSS-supported titles and this week is no different. As we look ahead to the busy October videogame release schedule, Battlefield 6 stands out as the biggest name, with DLSS 4 support from day-one.

Battlefield 6 launches on October 10th and it is shaping up to be one of the best entries in the franchise. Players have come away with positive impressions after several playtests throughout the year. When it drops on PC, it will include support for DLSS 4 with Multi-Frame Generation, supported on RTX 50 series graphics cards. If you have an older RTX 40 series GPU, you will still get access to standard Frame Generation, whereas RTX 50 series GPUs will have options for 3x and 4x Frame Generation. Other Nvidia-related features include DLAA and Nvidia Reflex.

Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition may have the most ridiculous name on this list. Still, weird naming conventions aside, the title will support DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation and Nvidia Reflex to maximise in-game response times.

FBC: Firebreak is getting its next major update this month. The game sports Path Tracing effects, so you'll want DLSS to juice up the performance a bit and offset the performance penalty that full Path Tracing brings. The game supports DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, DLAA, Ray Reconstruction and Nvidia Reflex.

The final game on this week's list is X4: Foundations. First released in 2018, the game is set to get its massive V8.0 update this month. This update brings inter-faction politics, espionage and diplomacy systems. This update also upgrades the game's DLSS implementation to the latest version.

On top of all of this, Nvidia is also updating Project G-Assist this week. This gaming-centred AI digital assistant first rolled out to users in August but a new update adds new commands for laptop users, allowing them to use the app to aid in optimising app / game settings for better performance. Laptop users will also be able to control features like BatteryBoost and WhisperMode via G-Assist.
