Seagate launches 4TB Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S

Seagate has launched the first 4TB Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S. This new capacity option is designed to confront the ever-growing storage demands faced by Xbox console users globally and remove the need for users to delete titles to make way for new ones.

With AAA titles often exceeding 100GB in file size, additional storage has become increasingly more important. Seagate's new 4TB Storage Expansion Card directly addresses this by enabling Xbox gamers to download and instantly play their games without the threat of running out of space. Developed in partnership with Xbox, this expansion card boasts plug-and-play simplicity, delivers fast load times, and integrates with the console's architecture.

The core benefit of this new offering is the massive storage capacity that allows users to save and play even the largest games. It offers seamless integration, mirroring the speed and performance of the Xbox Series X|S's internal SSD. Moreover, the drive is fully compatible with the Xbox Velocity Architecture, allowing Xbox Series X|S optimised games to be played directly from the expansion card without losing visuals, latency, load times, or framerates.

With the introduction of this 4TB option, players now have the flexibility to choose between 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities, allowing them to choose the storage solution that perfectly matches their needs. The 4TB Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S is available now, priced at $499.99.
