After a long and patient wait, fans of the upcoming anime MMO Blue Protocol: Star Resonance finally have a release window to look forward to. The developers have confirmed the game will launch this October. For some lucky players, the wait is even shorter, as the game's large-scale closed beta went live this weekend.
The closed beta kicked off on Friday, with codes having been sent out to registered players. The publisher has noted that more codes will be released gradually to avoid server overload, so it's worth keeping an eye on your inbox if you've pre-registered for it.
One of the game's headline features is its full cross-platform support. Blue Protocol: Star Resonance will feature shared servers for PC and mobile players, allowing for both cross-play and cross-progression. This means you can team up with friends regardless of their device and continue your own progress, whether you're at your desk or on the go.
With a firm October launch now in place and a closed beta underway, the hype for Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is ramping up. For those who didn't get into the beta, the game is now available for pre-registration on iOS and Android and can be wishlisted on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
