AMD's Radeon RX 9070 XT is back in the spotlight, with leaked gaming benchmarks suggesting it could be a formidable contender against Nvidia's GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super and 4080 Super GPUs.
Chiphell forum user nApoleon (via VideoCardz), who previously leaked details about the RX 9070 XT's specifications and performance in synthetic benchmarks, has now shared gaming benchmarks from two titles: Cyberpunk 2077 and Black Myth: Wukong. These games are known to be optimized for Nvidia GPUs, with Cyberpunk 2077 even serving as a showcase for DLSS 4 at CES 2025. However, the leaked benchmarks suggest that the RX 9070 XT can hold its own against the green team's offerings.

The leaked results show the RX 9070 XT going toe-to-toe with the RTX 4070 Ti Super in Cyberpunk 2077 (Ray Tracing enabled) across 1080p, 1440p, and 4K resolutions. However, comparing the two GPUs in Black Myth: Wukong (also on 1080p, 1440p, and 4K resolutions), there's a clear winner in the Radeon RX 9070 XT.
The RX 9070 XT, based on AMD's next-generation RDNA 4 architecture, is expected to launch later this month.
KitGuru says: Are you impressed with these performance numbers? Would you consider getting an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT if it performs like this across a wider range of games?
