MSI has just unveiled its latest AIO liquid cooler, the MPG Coreliquid P13 series, which places a heavy emphasis on achieving a clean, minimalist aesthetic through a simplified installation experience for PC builders. The new cooler aims to eliminate the usual cable clutter with a host of new “EZ DIY” features.
The most striking visual element of the P13 is its pump block, which is inspired by a water droplet and features a 2.1-inch IPS screen under a single piece of curved glass. This screen is highly customisable via MSI Center, allowing users to display hardware stats, custom GIFs and animations, or even use it as a fully extended desktop display.
On the performance front, the P13 is equipped with MSI's new Cycloblade 9 fans, which are designed for high static pressure to push air through the radiator fins effectively. This is paired with an updated, screwless full-plane copper base that uses 0.1 mm microchannels to improve heat transfer directly over the CPU's heat source.
Where the P13 aims to stand out is in its builder-friendly design. The headline feature is “Streamline”, a new technology that integrates all of the pump block's power and signal cables directly into the main braided tubing, leaving no visible wires coming from the pump itself. This is complemented by a pre-installed “Uni Bracket” that supports both AMD and Intel sockets out of the box and pre-installed, daisy-chainable fans to reduce the cable mess.
Moreover, the P13 AIO coolers feature a new “EZ Conn-Design” that uses a single proprietary JAF_1 header to handle the AIO. However, an adapter cable is included to split this into standard fan and ARGB headers. The MPG Coreliquid P13 Series is available in both black and white and should be hitting retailers now, although MSI has not yet confirmed the final pricing.
