Asus Chromebook C300 Review

As Chromebooks go, the Asus Chromebook C300 is definitely one of the more accomplished options, with the lengthy battery life a particular high point. However, in common with all Chromebooks, a question mark still hangs over whether it's possible to work comfortably on a system that relies so heavily on persistent, always-on Internet – particularly as this notebook has no built-in mobile data.

That said, if you are planning to work where there is always WiFi, and are happy to use Google services and software almost exclusively, this is a very cost-effective portable. There are cheaper Chromebooks out there, but generally in the 11in format, with Acer's C720 being a particularly sprightly and keenly priced alternative.
