Razer Book 13 Review – Razer’s first Ultrabook!

Looking at the graphics capability from the Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics we ran 3DMark Time Spy and the results were as expected. Despite not being a gaming laptop, I wanted to test how it would handle some 1080p gaming nonetheless.

Counter Strike Global Offensive at 1080p, full screen, set to high with Vsync, motion blur and AA disabled gave us an average of just under 70fps and 1% lows of 27fps. Not ideal but just about playable if you really wanted to!

Finally, I tested Team Fortress 2, 1080p, full screen, set to high with Vsync, motion blur and AA disabled and we got much better results here, with just under 180fps average and 90fps for the 1% lows. Honestly his was really fun to play especially with the bright and vivid screen on the Book 13! It’s not a gaming laptop at all but if you’re in a pinch, some easy to run esports titles should play fine.
