Apple to release new Mac Mini lineup

Apple are holding an event next week, the time when they are expected to announce the iPad Mini device. Latest reports from 9to5Mac indicate that Apple are going to announce a new range of Mac Mini computers.

The new range are said to include new processors and storage options and a third model will run OS X Server.

The products are said to be shipping right after the announcement on October 23rd.

The Mac Mini has not received an update since 2010 with the range receiving a unibody aluminum enclosure. 9to5Mac are suggesting that the new range will receive a USB 3.0 update and new generation chipsets.

Another product is due for release at the event – a new 13 inch Macbook Pro complete with Retina display.
