Indiana Jones and The Great Circle launched last year to strong reviews from both critics and fans alike. Since then, the Xbox exclusive found its way onto PlayStation and released the Order of Giants DLC. Now, in celebration of developer Machine Games’ 15th anniversary, a free surprise update has been announced and detailed, adding a New Game+ mode and more.
In alignment with the studio’s 15th anniversary this month, the team at Machine Games have unveiled a free update coming to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
Going live today, the ‘Anniversary Update’ introduces a suite of additions based on community feedback, namely:
- Cairo outfit (without the leather jacket)
- Additional outfits
- Power Saving mode on Xbox
- Greater support for the ROG Ally / handhelds in general
- Ability to select different voice and text languages
- New Game+
Of course, by far the biggest inclusion with this update is the addition of New Game Plus, allowing you to replay the story while keeping all of your unlocked Adventure Books right from the get-go.
Beyond this, the team teased that completing The Great Circle a second time round will reward players with an extended ending cutscene.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle was considered by many to be a win for Xbox and Machine Games, and so it is exciting to see the title continue to receive additional content – especially the NG+ mode.
