Black Ops 7 celebrates 115 Day with early Season 2 details

Since the game’s launch, the teams at Treyarch/Activision have kept Black Ops 7 feeling fresh thanks to a consistent string of updates both on a weekly and Seasonal basis. In celebration of COD Zombies’ 115 Day (15th of January), Treyarch have teased a ton of Zombies content coming with Season 2 and beyond.

Releasing a blog post to celebrate 115 Day (named after the classic COD Zombies element 115), Treyarch offered a look at what fans can expect going into Black Ops 7 Season 2 and beyond.

Though previously rumoured to be the case, Treyarch have officially confirmed that BO7 will see 5 major zombies maps released through the game’s post-launch Season. So far, we’ve gotten Ashes of the Damned at launch and Astra Malorum during Season 1, meaning there are still 4 main DLC maps to be released.

Of course, BO7 also features a bunch of Survival maps, with the team confirming that the launch of Season 2 will bring with it its 4th survival map: Mars from Astra Malorum. More exciting however is the fact that the well-received Cursed Mode (which brings back many classic Zombies elements) will be coming to survival maps at the start of Season 2.

Another highly-requested feature coming is the addition of a ‘starting room’ mode – harkening back to one of the most popular COD Zombies challenges from back in the day.

Though we only got a brief teaser, the team did confirm that the next big map won’t be arriving until Season 2 Reloaded – but with the addition of Mars and Cursed Survival, there should be plenty for Zombies fans to enjoy in the meantime.
