Red Dead Redemption 2 is now on Steam

Red Dead Redemption 2 has been out on PC for a month already on other stores but today, Rockstar's wild west adventure officially comes to Steam. The Steam Store listing is now live for those looking to buy, although the game doesn't unlock until later today.

As expected, Red Dead Redemption 2 will launch at full price on Steam, costing £55 for the standard edition, £70 for the Special Edition and £80 for the Ultimate Edition. The game was on sale for 20% off on other stores late last month, so the game could end up being part of the upcoming Steam Winter Sale if you don't mind waiting a bit longer.

While Red Dead Redemption 2 had plenty of early struggles on PC, several major patches have come out at this point, tackling a lot of performance and crashing issues. While the Rockstar Games Launcher will be required even for the Steam version, the game does support native Steam features, like Steam Achievements.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will unlock on Steam at 4 PM GMT. Discuss on our Facebook page, HERE.
