This month, Capcom finally revealed Resident Evil 9. The latest mainline game, officially titled ‘Resident Evil Requiem', isn't due out until next year but fans have been quick to express their interest, with the game being wishlisted over 1 million times.
Capcom revealed on its social channels this week that Resident Evil Requiem has surpassed one million wishlists. That figure accounts for wishlists across several stores, including PSN, the Xbox Store, and PC platforms like Steam.

Resident Evil Requiem is not yet available to pre-order, but those who wishlist the game will be notified when pre-orders go live, and they'll be notified again when the game releases.
Resident Evil Requiem is releasing on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on February 27th 2026, The game caps off what fans refer to as the ‘reboot' trilogy, which began with the release of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, saving the franchise from a string of poorly received titles.
