Hogwarts Legacy is now releasing in 2023

WB has been a little cagey on the release date for Hogwarts Legacy, sticking to a ‘holiday 2022' release window. Typically when a release date isn't set this late, it means there is a delay. With that in mind, it shouldn't be too surprising to learn that WB's upcoming Wizarding World RPG is now releasing in 2023.

Rather than releasing in Holiday 2022, Hogwarts Legacy is now due to release on the 10th of February 2023 for PC, as well as Xbox and PlayStation consoles. The Nintendo Switch version has been pushed back further and does not yet have a release date.

In the development update video, Avalanche community manager, Chandler Wood, announced the release date for the game. It is later than expected, but hopefully the team is confident in making that deadline.

Hogwarts Legacy is set in the late 1800s, with a new cast of professors and students looking to protect the school from an alliance between goblins and dark wizards. As previously promised, players will get to create their own characters, go to classes, brew potions, learn new spells and explore the entire castle, as well as the surrounding areas.

KitGuru Says: Given that we didn't have a solid release date yet, this delay was somewhat expected.

KitGuru Games: Battlefield 6 is a strong return to form + PC benchmarks

The Battlefield 6 beta was met with a wave of optimism over the Summer, and now, launch day is finally upon us. I've been playing the game in early access over the past week, giving me ample opportunity to see the campaign and dive into multiplayer modes. I'm pleased to report that Battlefield 6 is a strong return to form, doing away with all the controversial changes found in Battlefield 2042 and delivering the quintessential Battlefield experience. On top of that, we have some PC benchmark numbers, so you can get an idea of how well the game runs with DLSS on/off and with Frame Generation enabled and disabled.
