Here’s the full list of games getting PS4 Pro upgrades at launch

Since its initial announcement, things have been fairly quiet when it comes to the PlayStation 4 Pro. However, with the PSVR launch now out of the way, Sony is starting to open up a bit more about its upcoming upgraded console, releasing a full, definitive list of games that will be getting upgrades when the PS4 Pro launches next week.

Enhanced games include the likes of Uncharted 4, The Last of Us, Hitman, Battlefield 1 as well as some upcoming games like Final Fantasy XV, which comes out at the end of November. Alongside that, all future first-party games from Sony from 2017 onwards will come with PS4 Pro upgrades right off the bat.

It's a big list, encompassing 36 games in total. That number will rise to 45 games by the end of the year, following the launches of Watch Dogs 2, Final Fantasy XV and more.

KitGuru Says: The majority of PS4 Pro games will be launching with an 1800p resolution upgrade along with checkerboard rendering to upscale to 4K. It's a big step up from 1080p but hopefully we will see more 60fps upgrades for those who would rather sacrifice some resolution for better frame rates.
