EA Play goes digital, will take place in June

While E3 won’t be going ahead this year, publishers are still planning their own Summer showcases for upcoming games. EA will still be going ahead with its annual EA Play event in June, although this time around, it will be a digital-only event, rather than a larger gathering.

EA Play Live is happening on June 11th at 4PM PST, which would be midnight on June 12th for those of us in the UK:

EA Play began in 2016 and while it is not officially part of E3, it always takes place on the same week. Usually, EA would open up its own show floor for fans and press to play demos of various upcoming games, while also having a stage area for interviews with various developers.

We don’t know exactly what to expect from a digital-only version, but we will likely see some sort of EA Sports tournament and hopefully some updates from the likes of DICE, BioWare, Respawn and other studios.

KitGuru Says: What do you all want to see from EA this year? Perhaps Titanfall will make a return from Respawn, or BioWare will finally be able to show something new for Anthem or Dragon Age 4.
