Bioware discusses differences between Anthem demo and final game

With launch just one month away, Bioware is preparing to gear up for Anthem's first public demo. The first demo phase takes place this weekend for pre-orderers, with a fully public demo set to go live next week on the 1st of February until the 3rd. This demo won't fully represent the final game though, as Bioware has listed several differences we can expect to see.

Bioware's Mike Darrah tweeted out this week to explain how the Anthem demo is different from the final game. As you would expect, this slice of the game isn't fully up to date with bug fixes, the demo also starts players off in the middle of the game rather than at the very beginning.

The Anthem demo won't have any tutorials, the balance is “super different” to what will be in the final game and the economy is “completely different”. Those last two are a tad concerning, as economy and weapon balance can have a big impact on how people feel about the game at launch.

The Anthem demo will allow players to try out two different Javelin types. Everyone starts off with the Ranger as it is the easiest to get comfortable with. From there, you'll be able to pick one other Javelin type to try out during the demo.

KitGuru Says: Anthem is heading our way on the 22nd of February. Are any of you planning on trying the demo version when it launches?
