Bethesda offers deeper look at Starfield with trio of animated shorts

Bethesda has released a few teasers in the run-up to Starfield, with short talks about some of the different planets and their capital cities. With the game now just six weeks away, Bethesda has released a series of animated shorts, offering a deeper look at Starfield's universe.

Starfield is the first brand new IP from Bethesda Game Studios in decades and is also set to be the biggest RPG the studio has ever produced. There are now three animated shorts to watch, all part of The Settled Systems series, offering an anime-inspired look at Starfield:

These animated shorts unfortunately don't contain anything on the dialogue front, with the short stories told solely through visuals and music. The first video follows the story of a courier who switches careers on New Atlantis, the capital of the United Colonies. The second short is a quick story about street thieves on the run from Ryujin Industries, one of the megacorps based in the city of Neon on the planet Volii Alpha. The final video is about an orphan who wants to escape the planet Akila to see the wider universe first-hand.

Starfield is officially due to launch for Xbox Series X/S and PC on the 6th of September, unless you pick up the Deluxe Edition, which comes with five days of early access, starting on the 1st of September.
