We are a couple of weeks removed from the hugely popular Battlefield 6 beta, which shattered numerous franchise records. DICE still has plenty more to announce for the game before its launch in October though. Today, we got new details about the PC version of the game, which will include a number of exclusive features over the console versions.
You can check out the new PC trailer below:
Aside from 4K graphics and an uncapped frame rate, PC players will also benefit from a comprehensive options menu that features over 600 customisation options, giving you control over everything from HUD scaling and crosshair style to control schemes, input devices and Haptics. The game even features its own ‘incognito' mode, which will primarily be useful for streamers looking to avoid ‘stream snipers'.
Here is the full list of features planned for the Battlefield 6 PC launch:
- 4K Graphics + Uncapped Framerate
- 600+ Customization Options on PC
- HDR
- HUD, HUD Scaling, HUD Icons & Crosshair
- Camera Settings
- Controllers, Controller Schemes, Input devices, Haptics
- Streamer mode & Incognito mode
- Ultrawide Monitor Support
- Nvidia DLSS 4, Intel XeSS 2, and AMD FSR 4 Support
To keep matches fair, Battlefield 6 is also introducing a new anti-cheat system codenamed ‘Javelin'. This system aims to stop the injection of cheat code via things like peripherals with on-board memory. These PC features will be available alongside the innovative Portal mode, a massive sandbox where creators and players can push Battlefield to the limit through custom maps and game modes. Think of it like Battlefield's equivalent to Forge in Halo.
Battlefield 6 will launch for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on October 10th.
