Arkane releases Redfall gameplay deep dive

We finally got our first look at Arkane's upcoming vampire shooter, Redfall, back in June. Now, just a couple of months later, as part of QuakeCon, Arkane has debuted another 20-minute gameplay deep dive.

During QuakeCon, Arkane released a lengthy new video, featuring discussion from Redfall leads, Harvey Smith, Ricardo Bare, Karen Segars and Aaron Carter. The group breaks down Redfall's gameplay design, art direction and more.

Redfall is a co-op focused game that can be played solo, but it is primarily designed around having up to four players. The game is set in the fictional town of Redfall, which has become overrun with vampires. In an open world setting, you and up to three other players will travel around completing quests and taking down vampire leaders along the way to take back control of the town.

Redfall was originally going to come out in 2022, but was delayed earlier this year alongside Bethesda's next major RPG, Starfield. Both titles are now expected to land on Xbox and PC in the first half of next year.

KitGuru Says: Redfall seems like it could be fun, but I'm not sure how much of an audience it is going to find outside of Game Pass. Are you planning on picking this up next year?
