Arc System Works will showcase new fighting games this month

Arc System Works, the developer behind beloved fighting games like Guilty Gear and Dragon Ball FighterZ, is gearing up for a dedicated “Arc System Works Showcase” on June 27th, 2025. While the stream itself is scheduled to start at 1:50 AM BST, the thumbnail reads the actual event will kick off at 2:00 AM BST.

Fans tuning into the livestream can anticipate a look at the studio's ongoing efforts, including updates on existing titles and the unveiling of entirely new projects developed and published by Arc System Works. A highlight confirmed for the showcase is the reveal of a new project spearheaded by Daisuke Ishiwatari, the creator of the Guilty Gear series, known for his integral role in character design, story, and even the soundtrack.

The showcase arrives on the heels of the recent revelation of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, a new 4v4 tag team fighting game developed by Arc System Works in collaboration with PlayStation Studios and Marvel Games. Announced in June, this title is slated for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. This title reimagines legendary Marvel characters with a distinct visual style influenced by Japanese animation. Confirmed characters include Spider-Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Storm, Doctor Doom, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, and Ghost Rider. While not explicitly stated as a focal point for the showcase, its recent announcement makes it a strong candidate for further details during the event.
