GeForce Now gets support for DLSS 2.0

GeForce Now has had its fair share of ups and downs since its release in February. Now, Nvidia has updated its cloud streaming platform with DLSS 2.0 support – and as a bonus, the company has also added 21 new games to the library.

Deep Learning Super Sampling – or DLSS for short – is a technology developed by Nvidia that utilises machine learning and artificial intelligence to upscale low resolution images, with minimal loss in graphical fidelity compared to native resolution. The principal benefit should be reduced GPU load, increasing frame rates or – in this case – reduced server load.

With the announcement of DLSS 2.0 coming to GeForce Now, Nvidia has also stated Control will be the first game to get support for DLSS 2.0 on the platform, ‘with more games to come'.

Nvidia has also added 21 new games to GeForce Now, including some notable titles such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, Saints Row 2, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, alongside a handful of indie games. For the full list of additions, see HERE.
