We used a calibrated meter to measure the power at the wall. No monitors were factored into the readings.

The system power drain was measured in the following states:

Idle: when resting at the desktop.

Gaming Load: 3Dmark 11 ‘combined test’.

The little system only drains 85 watts of power when idle. This rises to 254 watts under load, which is a very good result.

  1. I love that case, but im not generally a fan of mini itx motherboards as they are generally compromises.

  2. Great system, a little expensive for me. but I can see why that would sell well. not so sure on those cheap corsair power supplies however, they are meant to be bad.
