Earlier this year in a surprise announcement, the team at FuturLab officially unveiled PowerWash Simulator 2 – a sequel to the highly popular and satisfying 2022 title. While no release date has been announced, the team have now dropped a surprise demo for the upcoming Simulator.
Taking to their Steam page to make the announcement, the team at FuturLab wrote: “We planned to share the release date trailer today, but unfortunately, we've not quite gone gold yet across all platforms. But to help you wait, you can play the PowerWash Simulator 2 Demo on Steam right now!”
Available to download through Steam, this single-player focused demo includes plenty to get stuck into, including:
- 2 levels (Removals Van & Public Facility)
- Home Base
- Starter washers (Prime Vista 1500 & Urban X U1)
- New, bubbly soap
- SwirlForce Floor Cleaner (unlockable)
- Furniture to unlock
- Pettable cats
- “Endless replayability (as long as you don't mind cleaning the same 2 levels)”
As of now, it seems like FuturLab are still hoping to release the game sometime before the end of the year.
That said, even if PowerWash Simulator 2 winds up slipping to next year, at least fans have this latest demo to tide themselves over until we get a concrete date.
