First things first – storage. With a fresh install of Windows 10, the Intel 600p SSD has 215GB of free space. The 2TB is obviously completely empty, with 1.81TB being available to users.
Next, we get a look at the CPU and GPU, thanks to CPU-Z and GPU-Z respectively.
The i5-6600K is a quad-core chip but it does not support HyperThreading. OCUK overclocked it to 4.5GHz using 1.35 volts.
The Gigabyte GTX 1070 has a base clock of 1595MHz, while it boosts to at least 1785MHz under load. However, thanks to GPU Boost Technology 3.0, I saw it settle at 1949MHz when playing games. Out-of-the-box that is an impressive gain over the Founders Edition.
