ECS LIVA X2 Mini PC Review

Thermal Dynamics

To find the system's idle temperature, I left Windows on the desktop for 30 minutes. The ‘load' temperature reading comes from running Prime95.

While idling at 48 Celsius is fairly warm for a CPU that is not really doing anything, peaking at 58 Celsius is a good result for this passively cooled PC. Temperatures are certainly not a problem.

Power Consumption

To get the ‘idle' power draw for the X2, I left Windows on the desktop for 30 minutes. The ‘load' power draw comes from running Prime95.

As you can see, the X2 draws essentially no power at all which is very impressive indeed.
