ADATA S599 256GB SSD Review

IOMeter is another open source synthetic benchmarking tool which is able to simulate the various loads placed on hard drive and solid state drive technology.

We subjected the drives to random read and write commands at 4kb over a 4GB area of each drive. Each test was held for 5 minutes and repeated 4 times to ensure accurate results.

The Corsair F100 100GB Drive delivers great results in the random write test, outperforming the other drives. The ADATA S599 performs the best in the random read test, but lags behind the others in the random write test.

  1. Good drives, I have the 128gb version of this and it maintains the speed well over time.

  2. I need to get into the SSD market, I might look at the 128gb version of this, the price looks lower than others. always a good buying incentive.

  3. I really have a hard time buying a drive like this from a company I dont really know, its a lot of money. Corsair or OCZ seem a much better option.

  4. What are their warranty terms? dont know much about them, cant even find a UK site

  5. for those who dont know, ADATA make the Corsair drives. its well known outside public circles.
