WD quote read speeds for the Black D50 of up to 3,000MB/s. In our throughput test, we couldn't hit that official maximum, the best we saw was 2,4158MB/s at the 8MB block mark.

Peak writes of 2,158MB/s came at the end of the throughput test which falls just short of the official maximum of 2,500MB/s.
