The official 4K random write performance figures is up to 500,000 IOPS. With our 4K random write tests we fell quite some distance from that maximum figure, the tested drive producing some 423,587 IOPS.

The Optane 900P's random write performance isn't as impressive as the read, regardless of queue depth.
