Corsair MP600 Mini 2TB SSD Review

We took note of the drive’s temperature during some of our benchmarking runs.

The test Corsair's 2TB MP600 Mini we had to use an adapter because of its M.2 2230 format. The Sabrent EC-PCIE comes with an aluminium heatsink and thermal padding to help keep any drive inside cool and it works quite well. The hottest the drive got was when it was being pushed very hard during the Sequential write test using CrystalDiskMark8 (QD1-32 T1), and the default write test when it peaked at 59° C which is a little too close to the quoted maximum operating temperature of 65°C for comfort. Overall the drive averaged 45°C for the tests.

The drive averaged 43° when testing the 4K-based tests.
