Corsair launch new AX 750w, 850w and 1200w PSU’s

Corsair have released some of the finest power supplies over the last 24 months and their new range has been eagerly anticipated now for many months. KitGuru has all the juicy news on the upcoming “AX” range.

They are offering a new series of ‘Professional Series Gold' power supplies in 750w, 850w and 1250w flavours. These are fully modular and will feature a single +12v rail. Efficiency is in the 90+ percent range at 50% utilisation, the wet dream of many an enthusiast.

Corsair are keen to extoll the virtues of the range with Zero Voltage Switching, Zero Current Switching as well as the highest quality capacitors.

  2. I do not see how they could be much better then the HX850 that I have. If so, they are doing something very right!

  3. They are gold standard efficiency. They have exceptional performance under load with very little ripple. Ultra stable and very well built. Very quiet too.
