MSI starts to use PPLP ATX 3.0 efficiency ratings in PSUs

MSI has proudly announced that its MAG A1000GL and MAG A850GL PCIe 5.0 PSUs are among the first to receive the new PPLP ATX 3.0 certification. This certification, which stands for “PSU Performance Level Plan”, aims to identify and showcase high-performance and highly reliable PSUs in the market, instilling consumer confidence.

Like other certifications, PPLP has a rating structure ranging from Bronze to Super Ti. With over a decade of experience in PC hardware testing, PPLP's team ensures precise measurements using comprehensive Chroma tools. The certification emphasizes power efficiency and performance, addressing customer expectations for both.

The MAG A1000GL PCIE5 and MAG A850GL PCIe 5.0 PSUs are MSI's first power supply units with a PPLP rating. Both PSUs received a PPLP Gold rating at 115V and 230V. In addition to the PPLP Gold certification, the MAG A1000GL PCIE5 and MAG A850GL PCIE5 have also obtained the 80 Plus Gold and Cybenetics Gold certifications.
